Emilio is a highly regarded veteran and pioneer of the wireless communications industry with over 26 years of rich experience, successfully building and growing operations as a senior executive at McCaw Cellular Communications, AT&T Wireless, and SunCom Wireless.
At AT&T Wireless, Emilio held various prominent roles including President, Eastern, US; President, Southeast US; Senior Vice President National Sales and Distribution; and Regional Vice President. During his tenure, Emilio was responsible for revenue ranging from $.7B to over $4B, generating over 28 million new subscribers, and nearly tripling AT&T Wireless market presence through new market launches, distribution growth, and rapid integration of acquisitions.
In his role as Senior Vice President National Sales and Distribution, Emilio led sales and distribution operations for AT&T Wireless, encompassing all sales channels, sales channel support, and national distribution center operations. Previously, Emilio held various executive roles at McCaw Cellular Communications including Region CFO and Vice President and General Manager.
Prior to joining McCaw Cellular Communications, Emilio co-founded The Renaissance Group, a venture in the underground storage tank industry with next generation eco-friendly solutions. Emilio was also a CPA with Arthur Young & Company.
Emilio holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University and an MBA from UCLA.
